A Bahraini anti-normalization association with Israel announced that it had received today, Sunday, directives from official bodies and "based on higher orders", to stop an electronic symposium it was holding on resisting normalization in the Gulf region.

The Bahraini Society to Resist Normalization with the Zionist Enemy said in a statement that it was "surprised by a call from the official authorities in the Ministry of Labor and Social Development after the start of the broadcast of the symposium on normalization in the Gulf, where those authorities informed the association's management that the direct broadcast should be stopped immediately on the basis of higher orders."

In its statement, the association apologized to all viewers who were following the broadcast of the symposium when it was broken, and to all those who contributed in presenting research papers from speakers and speakers.

She also expressed "deep regret" for such decisions, which do not represent and do not reflect the pulse of the Bahraini and Gulf street who reject normalization, according to the text of the statement.

The Assembly stressed that "such decisions harm the reputation of our country, and violate its constitution, which came in Article No. 6 of it, and Bahrain’s duty to safeguard the Arab and Islamic heritage, contribute to human civilization, and work to strengthen ties between Islamic countries."

Swimming countercurrent

In its statement, the association stressed that such decisions deepen the fear felt by the majority of the Arab people who reject normalization, and that the fear that the resistance to normalization will become a swim against the current, contrary to official statements.

It also renewed its call for the continuation of what it called "the resistance to normalization" in the Gulf, and the establishment of activities to fortify the region and the cultural front of the Zionist breakthroughs, according to the text of the statement.
