In Madrid and Catalonia, it will take a few more days, but Dario, the owner of the Blu café, is already preparing for its partial reopening.

At first, he can only use 6 of the 12 tables he has outside. "We have installed a giant menu on the terrace and we will also have a digital version. Customers will be able to consult it using a QR code. The employees will wear a mask, gloves and they will have disinfectant", explains Dario to the microphone. '' Europe 1.

"I'm not going to make any money"

The manager has made his calculations: in the best of cases, he will go from 500 to 100 customers per day. "I'm not going to make any money. The only hope is to recoup my costs and be able to pay wages. Of my 14 employees, 4 should be able to get out of unemployment," he said.

It remains to be seen whether customers will dare to leave their house for dinner or a drink. Carolina is used to blu coffee, and she intends to return to it as soon as the authorities issue the permit. "After all these closed days, I will go there to find a little normal life. And then we have to do neighborhood life. We must support our local businesses," she said. 

In order to save what can still be saved, the town hall should allow bars and restaurants to enlarge their terraces in June.
