- We have received an incredibly good response, both because we managed to change so quickly, but also at Pride Art Week in the Fylleryds forest, which has been very popular with the Växjö residents, says Suzana Moćević, chair of Växjö Pride.

Shocking, treasure hunting, podcasting and live broadcast discussions are more examples of how Växjö's Pride Week has been adapted this year due to the restrictions of the corona pandemic.

"This is something that we already see that we want to keep until next year, even though we will then also be able to be physically seen," says Suzana Moćević.

- We wanted to give the opportunity to the Växjö residents to participate and show their support for the LGBTQ movement. We wanted to do an installation that everyone can participate in, but not at the same time, so that there won't be too many people. The symbol shoes, their old parade boots, that you can come here and throw them up to show that you would have gone in parade, Ida Edberg, who is parade manager in Växjö Pride.
