It was at 22:30 on Friday that the man called the police and stated that he had been beaten and robbed by four perpetrators.
The incident must have happened on Olivehällsgatan in Strängnäs and the man states that he was sitting on a park bench when the unknown persons beat him and took his cellphone and shoes.
The man should not have been seriously injured and did not have to go to a hospital for care.
During the night, the police searched a dog patrol for the suspected perpetrators, but have not arrested anyone.
