  Due to the spread of the epidemic, from March 9th, Japan cancelled the validity of one or multiple visas issued in China, South Korea and other countries, mainly affecting short-term visas such as tourism and family visits, and those who are eligible for study abroad and work. Long-term visas are not affected. Starting from April 3, in addition to strengthening the entry restrictions of many countries, Japan also announced that people with permanent visas, including permanent residents, will no longer be able to enter Japan after leaving Japan. Originally, this measure was scheduled to expire at the end of April, but according to the current situation of the epidemic, the Japanese government decided to extend this measure for one month, the purpose is to reduce the risk of imported cases abroad, to suppress the spread of the epidemic in Japan.

  As of now, Japan has imposed restrictions on entry to 87 countries.

  The Japanese government announced that it would extend the "stop of visa validity and visa exemption measures for foreigners" until April 30, which was until May 31. The local Chinese media sorted out the meanings included:
