China News Service, May 9 (Xinhua) According to the Hunan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, the original secretary of the Loudi Municipal Committee of Hunan Province, Gong Wusheng, was suspected of serious violation of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.

Gong Wusheng, male, Han nationality, born in August 1956, from Xintian, Hunan, joined the work in April 1975 and joined the Communist Party of China in March 1982.
From January 1988 to December 1989, he served as member of the Standing Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Shuangpai County Committee;
From December 1989 to March 1997, he successively served as the member of the Standing Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of the Daoxian County Committee, the deputy secretary of the County Committee, the secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, and the secretary of the County Committee;
From March 1997 to December 2011, he served as the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the Yongzhou Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Mayor;
From December 2011 to March 2016, he served as Secretary of Loudi Municipal Party Committee;
From March 2016 to January 2018, he served as deputy secretary general of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and deputy director of the Provincial People's Congress Agricultural and Rural Committee.
