Volvo in Arvika starts again - but employees are on vacation

There are orders at the company, the problem is that there is a lack of details from subcontractors.

- The problem is that we do not have details - this is to get parts for our machines, says Willy Tunér.

Several other industries in West Sweden are also affected by the corona crisis. For example, Arvika Gjuteri has stopped production, but this is mainly due to a fire recently.

- The ambition is that we will start again on October 1, says the company's CEO, Håkan Axelsson to SVT.

Willy Tunér says that it is worrying about the situation in the industry throughout the West Warmlands.

- It's not good, we are dependent on the industry and here is Värmland's largest factory, Volvo, and so everyone we employ under us. It is clear that you feel a concern.
