US President Donald Trump said yesterday, Wednesday, that he did not put a muzzle during a tour, on Tuesday, at a factory of the "Honeywell International" company in Arizona after consulting the CEO of the company, despite the requirements imposed by the facility for workers to wear masks.

Speaking to reporters at the White House on the occasion of the National Nursing Day, Trump said he tried some muzzles before his official appearance on the tour, one of which was the "M3" type produced by Honeywell, and 4 other masks.

He added: "It is not my problem that you did not see me, but I had a muzzle and I did not need it, and I specifically asked Hani Weil's president ... and he said you don't need it."

In response to a question about how long he had put the muzzle, Trump said: "Not until long, but I put one, and I put it before the start of the tour, and they said you need it," adding: "No one from the accompanying group was wearing a muzzle" during his tour except Workers who were close to each other.

Trump was wearing safety glasses during the tour, the production workers wore masks, and there was a clear sign saying: "Please pay attention: the muzzle should be worn in this area. Thanks."
