The representative of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in Hadhramaut, Hamid Rashid Al Shamsi, said that the distribution of this relief aid came within the framework of supporting the families who need it most, noting that the authority is trying to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people in the liberated areas, by providing them with humanitarian and relief support, and looking into Humanity and extend a helping hand to cancer patients and their families.

Al Shamsi stressed the Emirati Red Crescent’s keenness to continuously implement these humanitarian projects continuously, to reach every Yemeni citizen in light of the conditions the country is going through.

The beneficiaries expressed their thanks for this Emirati aid, which would alleviate their human suffering, after they lost many of the necessities of life due to the deteriorating economic situation, and the income sources that secure them a living. It is noteworthy that the number of food baskets, which have been distributed since the beginning of 2020, amounted to 13,30 food baskets, weighing 839 tons and 263 kilograms, targeting 65,150 individuals from the needy and affected families in Hadramout Governorate.
