Updated data in Italy and worldwide

There are 89,624 coronavirus patients in Italy, down from 1,904 compared to yesterday. Yesterday the decrease had been 6,939. The data was provided by the Civil Protection.

29,958 victims , an increase of 274 in one day. Yesterday the increase had been 369.

96,276 people recovered , an increase of 3,031 compared to yesterday. On Wednesday, over eight thousand patients were discharged and recovered.

The total infected , i.e. the currently positive, the victims and the recovered, are 215,858 with an increase compared to yesterday of 1,401. Yesterday the increase had been 1,444.

The decline in ICU patients continues: 1,311 patients are currently in the wards, 22 fewer than yesterday. In Lombardy there are 480, the same number as yesterday. The number of people hospitalized with symptoms is 15,174, with a decrease of 595 compared to yesterday. Finally, 73,139 people are in house isolation, 1,285 fewer than yesterday.
