On June 15, there is a table change in bus traffic, but it is not just the timetables that are replaced. A lot of lines are divided into separate lines.

- It feels really good to be able to offer regional bus traffic that in many ways provides completely new conditions for public transport in the county, says Carl-Johan Sjöberg, traffic director, Jönköping County, in a press release

New tours

The changes mean, among other things, that bus 101 is redone and divided into two lines - 114 and 121. This means that everyone in Habo will be able to go directly with 114 to Ryhov - via central Jönköping - without exchanges. Line 121 will service Gränna-Jönköping. The change is being made to make the lines less vulnerable to delays, which has been quite common in rush hour traffic for line 101.

Line 26, which runs between Bankeryd and Ryhov, via Jönköping center, becomes line 112. A great news on that line is that Sjöåkra will be served on all tours.

New regional buses

With the change of timetable on June 15, new regional buses will also roll out on the roads in the county. As an example, the new buses have USB chargers at each location, air conditioning and will be powered by biogas, biodiesel and green electricity.

- With the new regional buses we take the fight against the car seriously. With high comfort and wifi on board, the buses can act as the traveler's workplace during the journey. We believe that these benefits will be discovered by many when the buses are in traffic. Also add that the new buses are fueled with 100 per cent fossil and palm oil-free fuels, says Charles Tholin, business developer, Jönköping County.
