The next Paris Fashion Week dedicated to men's fashion will take place online from July 9 to 13, the Haute Couture and Fashion Federation announced on Wednesday.

The spring-summer 2021 men's ready-to-wear collections will be presented "in the form of a film or video" on a dedicated platform and "the principle of the official calendar is maintained," the Federation said in a press release.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ready-to-wear week scheduled for June 23-28 and the haute couture week from July 5 to 9 have been canceled.

Faced with the changes brought about by the Covid-19, the creators are thinking about the aftermath of the epidemic.

The artistic director of Saint Laurent, Anthony Vaccarello, has already announced that the house is withdrawing from Paris Fashion Week in 2020, preferring to create and present the collections at its own pace and favor "the relationship with people and their daily lives" .

The Italian designer Giorgio Armani who presents the ready-to-wear collections in Milan and the haute couture in Paris also called in March to "remove the superfluous".
