“Alexander Smirnov leaves the post of Minister of Health of his own free will,” said the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin.
It is specified that from May 7, Deputy Governor David Melik-Huseynov will combine his position with the post of Minister of Health of the region.
As indicated in the regional government, Smirnov will now work as head physician of the Borsky district hospital.
Earlier, acting head of Komi, Vladimir Uyba signed a decree on dismissal of the Minister of Health of the Republic Dmitry Berezin.
