According to TASS, referring to the agency, the number of detected cases of coronavirus in the period from March to May 6 in the army and military schools reached 3285.
“In the course of continuous testing in the military command and control bodies, associations, formations, military units, from March to May 6, 1506 troops were installed with positive results,” the bulletin says.
The ministry also adds that other cases have been identified among pupils of pre-university educational institutions, at universities of the Ministry of Defense, and among civilian personnel.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that over 6.7 thousand beds have been trained in military hospitals for patients with coronavirus infection COVID-19.
