May 06, 2020 The new coronavirus pandemic has killed over 250,000 people worldwide. According to an AFP report, the victims are precisely 254,532, while the total cases are 3,629,160. 

In China, 82,883 cases
In China, coronavirus cases rise to 82,883. In the past 24 hours, 2 imported cases have been recorded. 4,633 deaths since the start of the pandemic. Another 20 asymptomatic have been identified. In Mexico, on the other hand, there were 1,120 new cases, thus bringing the total to 26,025, the deaths rose to 2,507 (+236).

There are 600 deaths registered in the last 24 hours in Brazil, the highest figure since the start of the pandemic. This was revealed by the Ministry of Health, informing that there were 6,935 new infections, for a total of 114,715. The total number of confirmed victims is 7,921.  


Colombia extended the confinement until May 25
The confinement imposed by Colombia to deal with the coronavirus emergency will be extended by two weeks, until May 25. This was announced by President Ivan Duque. The construction sector and the manufacturing industry can however resume their activities on condition that they implement the safety protocol. There are 8,600 cases in the country, while deaths rise to 378.

Iran: Almost 100 thousand cases of contagion, 6,340 deaths
Iran has officially registered almost 100 thousand cases of contagion of Covid-19: in the last 24 hours, there have been other 1,323 people tested positive, positive, bringing the number of confirmed cases in Iran to 99,970. This was announced by the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Kianouche Jahanpour. The total death toll has instead reached 6,340, making it the most affected country in the Middle East. The government figures are considered widely underestimated by some foreign experts, but also by several Iranian officials.
