AFP News reported that two fishing boats were kidnapped by six pirates and one crew member, including one Korean, in a sea area near Libreville, the capital city of Gabon, west Africa.
A source close to the Gabon authorities said, "The pirates have kidnapped three Indonesians, two Senegalese and one Korean."
Defense of Gabon did not respond to AFP's request for confirmation.
In Gabon, the first report of a pirate attack came this year.
Recently, pirate damage has occurred in Guinea Bay, including the Gabon area.
In December last year, several fishing boats were attacked in the waters near Libreville, four Chinese sailors were detained and one Captain Gabon was killed.
