Investigators opened a criminal investigation into the death of people in a fire on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code (causing death by negligence to two or more persons).

According to the investigation, a fire occurred in a house in the village of Durnikha. During the fire, the bodies of six unidentified people, three men and three women were found.

“The cause of the fire could be a fault in the wiring,” the report said.

According to preliminary data, 26 people, citizens of one of the neighboring states, lived in the house.

“The legality of finding them in Russia will be verified,” the department added.

Earlier it was reported that six people died in a fire in a private house in the Ramensky district of the Moscow region.
