The Ministry of Education decided to extend the period for entering the central exams until 10 pm, in order to facilitate the students and give them more space to apply for it at a time that suits them.

The ministry confirmed, in a press release, that extending the time period for entering the tests is considered the flexibility of the smart measurement system, as the student can choose the most appropriate time to take the tests.

The day before yesterday, the short central tests for the third semester were launched, which were approved by the Ministry of Education for public school students.

Students from grades four to twelve have started the central tests, which come within the smart learning and distance education system, with a test in the Arabic language with a duration of half an hour.

These tests are a substitute for the end-of-term exam for grades 4 to 11. In anticipation of any emergency, the Ministry will take central tests again (compensatory), in the event that students encounter certain difficulties that did not enable them to attend the basic test.

The Ministry had carried out, last month, a mandatory online pilot training, to measure the effectiveness of the electronic testing system for government school students, from the fifth to twelfth grades for all educational tracks.
