Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, head of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, said that the world is experiencing rapid changes that have changed the map of relations with everything, and there is a new world that is taking shape in terms of its system, areas, work mechanisms, and communication systems in the daily life of the individual and society as a whole.
He continued: «We must arm ourselves with the tools of success and integrated readiness to cope with these sudden events and transformations, for change starts from ourselves first and progress is impossible without change, and we are able to manufacture positive life and achieve successes despite all the difficulties we face, by employing cultural dialogue, understanding, intellectual openness and continuous work with high efficiency We hope that this council contributes to raising the ceiling of constructive dialogue and enabling members of society to keep pace with the rapid development and modernity to improve the quality of life and to use all advanced technologies correctly, to achieve successes and excellence at all levels.
This came during the second sessions of the Rashid bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi Virtual Council, which discussed the topic of “Making Life in a Changing World”, in which the Professor of Psychology at Emirates University hosted Dr. Ahmed Al-Najjar, and the psychological advisor in the Family and Child Prosecution consultant Hind Al-Badawi.
Al-Najjar talked about how to make the future and build victorious leaders despite the changing world that we live in. He stressed that the “Corona pandemic has proven that we have a significant ability to face all odds with evidence of our superiority in the field of distance education at the world level, which did not have a great impact on the level of students And their transition from the traditional e-learning they have mastered very quickly. ”
The carpenter pointed out that change is a positive decision that stems from the human mind has no ceiling, so one has to talk with himself positively and not look at the obstacles to be able to achieve his goals, and the keys to success lie in desire, goal and means of continuity, and the Emirati people are distinguished by their dreams that go beyond reality and adopt a wise leadership approach that Embodies the culture of the Impossible.
For its part, Al-Badwawi reported that the Corona pandemic is a wonderful opportunity for parents to be able to discover their children closely and use correct educational methods that are appropriate for them, as well as an opportunity for everyone to monitor and evaluate their thoughts and behaviors.
She showed that we are living in this difficult stage, which is considered distress and grant at the same time, and that qualified us to accept changes and face challenges with determination and strength, stressing the need to control feelings and lack of fear from the future, and accept the current challenge positively, and develop a plan for change that includes the individual’s dealing with himself and with others, and that Through managing the process of thinking and awareness and controlling individuals with their ideas and behaviors.
