Police stopped theft theft in Hälsingland last night

At 2am the police receive a call from a person who tells us that the burglar alarm sounds at a gas station in Edsbyn. At the same time, police are told that someone has broken open a door to a grocery store in the same location.

Shortly after 3am, police receive an alert about an ongoing burglary at a petrol station in Söderala. In Ljusne, 25 minutes later, one of the police patrols sees a car that corresponds with observations from the crime scene.

The car is stopped and there are two men in their 20s and 45s respectively. They are arrested on suspicion of theft by burglary. In the car, goods are found, mainly tobacco, which the police believe comes from the three crime scenes.
