“In total, in honor of Victory Day, more than 1,600 memorial sites will be landscaped in all areas of the Leningrad Region: work is being carried out as part of the #Subbot Victory campaign,” the press service said.
It is noted that "they are attended by employees of the executive authorities of the Leningrad Region, municipal administrations, labor collectives, public organizations, volunteers."
It is also reported that 1.47 thousand memorial sites and memorials have already been landscaped and restored.
Earlier it was reported that more than 50 memorial burials were improved in the Leningrad Region.
