His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai, chaired today the Executive Council meeting to review the work plans of the Dubai Food Security Committee.
His Highness said, "Our goal is to enhance our capabilities in facing crises and support all efforts towards achieving this goal. We call on all government agencies to unify their efforts to ensure the provision of various commodities at reasonable prices for all consumers in all circumstances."
His Highness added, "We are fully prepared and we have sufficient strategic stocks of various commodities. The Dubai government places insurance for the needs of citizens and residents among our first priorities, and we have specialized teams working around the clock in response to the repercussions of the current crisis."
