"   There are now 5 million French people working in telework, and in the context of progressive deconfinement, it is important that they continue to telework,  " said Muriel Pénicaud , on Franceinfo.

However, to prevent management abuses, a company must define, via “  a charter  ” or “  an agreement  ” with the unions, “  a manual for teleworking  ” which provides in particular “  hours of disconnection  ”, a-t it estimated. "  Telework cannot be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, seven days a week ," said Muriel Pénicaud. You can't hang on your phone or computer all the time. Negotiations between social partners

The minister said she was in favor of opening a national negotiation between the social partners on this subject, as the unions have mentioned in recent days, but on condition that it be rapid. “  It is up to them to decide whether negotiations are necessary. If they do it, what could be good is that they do it quickly. If the result of the negotiations arrives in September-October, it is interesting for the future but it will not be operational for the next phase  , ”she pleaded.

She also called on employers to be “  caring  ” during this period, because “  you can't work the same way with two children at home  ”. “  We cannot work as before for the moment. But, between not working and working anyway, working is better for the economy, for employment and for everyone. You have to be understanding,  ”she concluded.
