Starting at midnight on Sunday, May 3, Sweden's radio broadcasts eight hours of live radio under the name Fågelsångsnatten.

The program is broadcast from north to south. One of the places is Ersnäsfjärden outside Luleå where nature journalist Thomas Öberg together with the bird experts Lena Bondestad and Lars Sandberg guide the listeners.

- A perfect place, birds that move along the Norrbotten coast move in here and rest and eat, says Thomas Öberg.

According to Thomas Öberg, some programs call it "slow radio".

- But I'm not so sure. Just what it is, a sea eagle can come over everything and then there will be life in the hatch.

In the clip you can see pictures from the preparations out in Ernäsfjärden.
