The return to school of students from Lyon will be after deconfinement in a staggered manner, by class level, between May 14 and June 4, except for small and medium sections of kindergarten, according to the town hall. Children enrolled in the large kindergarten, CP and CM2 section will be able to find their teachers and classmates on May 14, CM1 on May 25, while students in CE1 and CE2 will have to wait until June 4, said a statement released on Saturday.

For children of very small, small and medium sections of kindergarten, "the distance measures and barrier gestures are very complex to implement", no date is currently set, adds the town hall. Depending on the configuration of the premises, reception will be limited to a maximum of 15 students per class, 30 to 50% of children being able to attend each school simultaneously, in order to respect the physical distance measures provided for in the national recovery protocol.
Takeover on a voluntary basis
A rotation of the workforce by half-class will allow the presence of children in school, as a rule, on two days in a row. Teaching will be provided remotely during the rest of the week. Reinforcement of cleaning, implementation of barrier gestures and wearing of a mask for supervising adults are also planned, as elsewhere.

School meals will be provided with hot meals and a unique menu without meat, and reorganized to comply with sanitary measures. The morning nursery and reception after 5.30 p.m. are suspended until the end of the school year, and the extracurricular workshops on Wednesday do not resume for the time being.
