The department prepared the study under the title (the effects of the global epidemic "the emerging corona virus" on the local business sectors and jobs), as part of its efforts in the field of studies and scientific papers that serve the sustainability of human capital, and supports decision-making in issues and affairs related to human resources.

The study aimed to shed light on the changes that occurred in the labor markets and the economy at the local and global levels in light of the pandemic of the global epidemic of Corona virus, which is considered an "invisible enemy", as it dealt with the changes in the medium and long term for various businesses and sectors, at the governmental and private levels. The study pointed to the efforts of the UAE and its superiority in providing advanced and successful human development policies and keeping abreast of developments permanently. It led to significant growth and development in the Emirati human resources deployed in the governmental and private business sectors, and increased its competencies and capabilities. In this regard, it draws attention to the impacts that will affect all human resources at the level of the country and the world at large.

The study indicated that the various businesses and sectors will be affected by this global pandemic at the level of government and private sectors, where some jobs are affected at the level of the two sectors, some may shrink or disappear, and difficulties may arise in offering new jobs, but opportunities will still be available to develop existing jobs through integration Reducing and self-enriching from within the job, focusing on data analysis, and developing supportive information technology to directly link with all jobs and develop them technically, in particular, developing the issue of remote work or working from homes on the line that has become a very important reality and a veritable fact Of imposing necessitated significant changes on the nature of jobs, whether existing or new and novel.

The study drew attention to the effects of quarantine on the business sectors, as many of them were affected by restrictions and people's fear of the spread of infectious diseases. Where less travel, transport and ride aircraft, eating outside the home, business and social gatherings, attending public celebrations and sports events, conferences, seminars and festivals, and the organization of various events. Then the study recommended the importance of directing those concerned in the sectors of career guidance and academic guidance to direct students and learners towards medical jobs, and focus decision-makers on caring for these areas and jobs and their citizenship citizens, in order to urgently need them because importing doctors from abroad is a costly process now and in the future. To retain its medical staff and researchers in medical laboratories, as scarce human resources, so it is necessary to work on increasing the various medical specialties, and to work to support medical laboratories, and their staff of technicians, specialists and researchers, and work on etc. Find new jobs related to medicine and its industries.
