“An investigator of the Voskresensk city police department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Moscow Region, the deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city district of Voskresensk, was charged with receiving a bribe for illegal actions (inaction) using a group of persons by prior conspiracy, involving the extortion of a bribe (Sec. paragraph “a, b”, part 5, article 290 of the Criminal Code of Russia), ”the statement said.
According to preliminary investigation data, “a police officer, together with his subordinate, entered into a criminal conspiracy and extorted a bribe in the amount of 100 thousand rubles from a man suspected in a criminal case”.
“At the interrogation of the investigator, the accused fully admitted his guilt. A police officer was interrogated as a suspect, ”they said in the UK.
