The rebellious French deputy for Seine-Saint-Denis blasted the "double speech of the government" on the school. At the microphone of Europe 1 this Friday, he believes that "the concrete conditions are not met".

INTERVIEW

He denounces a "double discourse". Guest of the "Big Evening Newspaper" of Europe 1 this Friday, the rebellious France MP for Seine-Saint-Denis Alexis Corbière returned to the reopening of schools on May 11, the example "quite caricatured" according to him of management government deconfinement. "The double speech of the government which wants us to believe that we will make up for the [school] delay in three weeks in May, while at the same time we increase the closings of classes, it does not work and it puts the angry people, "he says.

Specifying that closures are planned in his riding, he tackles: "It seems that it is seen as a daycare for the children of employees forced to return to work." Re-assembled, the deputy opposed point by point his argument to government announcements, starting with volunteering in schools. A measure that can only be applied if parents who receive support "to keep their children at home are kept," he said.

Otherwise, "they will have no choice and will be forced to leave their kids at school". But the deputy also points to another effect of volunteering, this time on dropouts. If the government has put forward their situation to justify a reopening of the schools before the start of the September school year, Alexis Corbière points out "that there is no assurance that it is them who are coming back, it may even be the reverse ".

As for the strict sanitary measures which must be implemented in schools, the deputy sweeps them away: "In my city, there was no soap in certain schools before the crisis, so we are not going to make believe of a one stroke we will clean them every hour. "
