- We can try to listen in and be a support in our own foundation. Some are pretty lonely in their thinking and the school has a great deal anyway, says Jörgen Nässén, psychologist and promoter of the guideline.

He says that during the period, quite a few children were home from the schools in Eskilstuna.

More children in school after Easter

- Sometimes for medical reasons, sometimes for concern maybe. But after Easter there have been many more children in schools.

All parents of children in Eskilstuna's elementary schools have been informed about the new guideline. The purpose of the line is to reduce anxiety and support parents in "making wise and rational decisions" about the children's schooling, the information says.

Relieve the schools

Another purpose is to relieve the schools from conversations.

In the first phase, the support line is open until week 21, and is staffed two hours in the morning.
