Statistics show that in 2019, the volume of domestic waste removal in Beijing was 10.1116 million tons, with an average daily average of 27,700 tons. The newly revised "Regulations on the Management of Domestic Waste in Beijing" at the end of 2019 made it clear that the classification of domestic waste will be officially implemented on May 1 this year.

How to supervise

Anyone who violates the regulations again shall be fined not less than RMB 50 but not more than RMB 200. After individuals are punished, they can be exempted from administrative punishment if they voluntarily participate in community service activities such as household waste classification.
