The Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi managed to remove 164 abandoned and abandoned ships and boats, as part of a campaign carried out to remove abandoned and abandoned ships, boats and sailboats in multiple regions, as part of its efforts to ensure the smooth movement of maritime navigation, maintain the integrity of the marine environment, and the aesthetic appearance of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The campaign, which was implemented in several stages, resulted in the removal of the debris of 164 vehicles and ships that distort the aesthetic appearance of these areas, and were a hotbed of insects and rodents in them.

The campaign, which was implemented by the department in cooperation with the Agency for the Protection of Vital Installations and Coasts, came after the deadline for warnings issued to owners of ships, boats and boats in the waterways chain, Mina Zayed, Mussafah, Shahama, Tawila and Al-Bateen.

The department calls upon the community members to cooperate with it in preserving the appearance of the city, and the need to report everything that leads to the distortion of the aesthetic image of the city's beaches, by calling the Marine Accidents Center on the number 996.
