The campaign, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Initiatives International, in cooperation with the Community Solidarity Fund against Coved-19 in conjunction with the blessed month of Ramadan, recorded the distribution of more than 1.3 million meals and 10,000 food and food parcels, which together amounted to more than one million and 823 thousand meals. , Distributed at a rate of more than 322 thousand meals to workers and families in various parts of the country during the first few days of the holy month.

The campaign’s operations room worked to provide supply chains for food and catering supplies, facilities sterilization supplies and materials, cooking and packaging, loading, transport and distribution, by relying on an integrated logistical support network with the aim of delivering meals and food parcels on time to the campaign’s beneficiaries wherever they were across the country.

The Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, Mona Al-Kendi, stressed that «solidarity, cooperation and coordination between government agencies concerned with charitable and humanitarian work on the state’s land were the most important factors in the success of the first and basic stage of the campaign, and facilitated the arrival of food support to those who deserve it within an effective work system She highlighted the eagerness of everyone in the UAE society to solidify with this national campaign.

The campaign, which opened the door to contribute to its efforts to provide a social safety net and food security for the needy and the most affected sectors from the repercussions of the pandemic, Covid-19 received specific cash and in-kind contributions from individuals and institutions through the various donation channels it provided, until the total contributions of the first week of the campaign exceeded the equivalent of 11 Million meals. Contributions were distributed with the equivalent of 9.6 million meals from the financial contributions made by charitable and humanitarian institutions, commercial companies and private sector institutions, 412 thousand meals provided by 39,000 donors via text messages, and 859 thousand meals contributed by 7,000 donors via the website, in addition to contributions in kind equivalent to 163 thousand A meal came from contributions via the campaign's call center.
