  According to public information, Bai Songtao, male, born in April 1972, Manchu, native of Shenyang, Liaoning, in-service postgraduate degree, doctor of economics, graduated from the Department of Land Development and Urban-rural Construction of Kunming University of Science and Technology, majored in engineering survey, Guanghua Management of Peking University College of Business Administration.

  Bai Songtao worked for a long time in state-owned enterprises. In 2008, he served as deputy director of the Political Research Office of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and was transferred to the standing committee of the Chongzuo City Party Committee and secretary of the Fusui County Committee of the border city in the following year;

  In 2011, Bai Songtao served as the Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Chongzuo Municipal Committee of Guangxi; in 2012, he served as the secretary of the Guangxi District Committee of the Communist Youth League. After that, he served as the deputy secretary of the Guilin Municipal Committee in 2017 (the director level). On March 25, 2020, the 30th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Fifth National People's Congress of Yulin City decided to appoint Bai Songtao as deputy mayor and acting mayor of Yulin City People's Government.

  Yulin is located in the southeastern part of Guangxi. It was called Yulin in ancient times, and it has the reputation of "the ancient state of millennia and the city of Lingnan". In the 6th year of Yuan Ding in the Western Han Dynasty (111 BC), Yulin County was established, and there have been more than 2,000 years of state and county history.
