It is clarified that the head of the British Foreign Ministry, Dominic Raab, reporting on the situation with the coronavirus, indicated that the number of victims increased significantly due to data adjustments. According to him, the death toll immediately increased by 3.811 people. The adjusted figures relate to the period from March 2 to April 28, and not to any particular day.

On April 28, 21,678 deaths from coronavirus infection were reported in the UK.
