A giant crane lifts up two construction workers and they cut down one concrete piece at a time. Each piece is then gently lifted onto the ground. The work is expected to continue until the end of May unless the weather is favorable.
- Blown is not good and we do not work when it blows more than 11 second meters but a little rain and still weather is only good for the project, says Niklas Kristensen, project manager.
The Andrea Church, located at the Fridhemtorget in Malmö, has a so-called campanil, a freestanding bell tower. The new campanile will be built with stainless steel reinforcement. Demolition should be completed by the end of May and the new bell tower should be ready for the first advent.
