He added, “We have immortal values, which we draw from the legacy of our father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul. We carry the banner of his values in these circumstances, to gain insight into his rich legacy .. Al-Darei said that the teachings of our Islamic faith, in its true form, reinforce the values of mercy, and we derive from it five basic foundations under these circumstances in which we live and the world.
The first is that it honored humankind and made it a place of appreciation. All that threatens people from danger, harm, and destruction and prevents them from safety, as it contradicts religions and their teachings. The provisions of this epidemic are based on the opinion of the medical authorities and refer to and rely on them, and our true religion calls us to arbitrate science and encourages those who strive to save humanity, and to find medicine that the whole world awaits. The third is to abide by the instructions issued by the competent authorities and it is a legal duty, because in observing them is preserving souls, whether preserving the soul of man or the souls of others. The fourth is the tolerance of religion and facilitates its teachings, and there are many Quranic verses and prophetic sayings that confirm this and urge it. Fifthly, the compass of religious discourse in such circumstances is the cultivation of tranquility, reassurance, optimism and positivity, and this is a Quranic approach that directs us to introduce our Lord, Blessed and Exalted, in its verses.
He said that volunteering in crises should be a choice for all of us, as it shows the cohesion of states and the awareness of individuals and the effectiveness of institutions during these circumstances, and it is through initiative, cooperation, harmony and solidarity between members of society and its institutions, to exert effort, time, money and various forms of support to serve the community and help it overcome the challenge it faces . His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the topic of the lecture and its title “With Our Values We Go Toward the Future”, indicating His Highness that the lecturer is among the youth and national cadres that we are proud of and are betting on in the UAE in this field, along with the rest of his brothers who preserve their national identity and values Authentic.
