The helicopter was based on a Canadian frigate under the control of the NATO defense alliance and disappeared on Wednesday night from the radar somewhere between Italy and Greece.
Now Greek ERT states that a deceased person was found along with parts of the helicopter in the sea, AP writes. Five people who are supposed to have traveled by helicopter are still missing.
It is currently unclear how the accident should have happened. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
