The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation continues to evacuate the citizens of the UAE and facilitate all necessary measures to return them and their escorts to the homeland safely, in coordination with the embassies and representative missions of the country abroad and all the relevant authorities in the state.

With close monitoring from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and the continuous coordination of the Ministry's operations center with the competent authorities, Emirati child Meshaal Mahmoud Al-Ali, (9 years old), returned to the homeland from Mexico.

Meshaal traveled with his grandfather to Mexico to attend his uncle's wedding, which he would have met for the first time, in a coastal area about 19 hours by road from Mexico City. It was planned that his parents would join him after four days, but they were not able to do so after suspending all flights to and from the UAE due to the spread of the new epidemic of Corona virus.

The child's parents were quick to register his data in the "presence" service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the citizens of the UAE, and they contacted the ministry and the embassy of the state in Mexico City to evacuate their son with his grandfather to the Emirates.

After the child Meshaal spent time in Mexico without being able to return, and thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the country's embassies in Mexico, Canada and the United Kingdom, the child "Meshaal" was able to join his family in the Emirates after a 48-hour trip, from the coastal region to travel By land to the Cancun region to take a two-hour flight to Mexico City, then from Mexico to Canada and the United Kingdom to Dubai to reunite the child with his parents.

The father of the child, Mahmoud Mohamed Al-Ali, appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, saying: "We are going through force majeure beyond our control, and the Ministry and the country's embassies abroad are undertaking, under these conditions, a tremendous effort to overcome all obstacles and facilitate procedures for the return of the children of the Emirates to the homeland."
He also expressed his happiness and gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs team and representatives of state missions abroad in these difficult situations and for their constant contact with him to check on the family conditions and ensure that Meshaal returned to their arms in a safe and sound manner.
