Norwegian billionaire Tom Hagen was arrested on Tuesday morning under dramatic conditions. Two minutes from his house, the road was blocked in both directions when he came driving. Hagen was taken to the police station and house searches were started immediately in the couple's house and at his workplace. He is suspected of murder or attempted murder of his wife, who disappeared from the couple's home on October 31, 2018.

Today at 12 noon detention hearing is held in the Lower Roman District Court. Police want him to be detained for four weeks to begin with. But Tom Hagen's defender Svein Holden, who has been with it throughout, according to police, fabricated kidnapping drama does not believe the evidence will hold for a detention.

- They have arrested him on very thin grounds and I expect him to be released, says Svein Holden to NRK, when he is on his way to the detention negotiations.
