The Civil Guard has arrested a 49-year-old woman who denounced a false illegal arrest in order to move from Madrid to Colmenar Viejo in order to attend a birthday party , thus skipping the confinement decreed by the state of alarm in the midst of the coronavirus crisis .

The woman is accused of simulating a crime and has been proposed for sanction for contravening the royal decree that prevents the free movement of people.

The investigation began on April 14, when the woman reported at the Colmenar Viejo Post that she had been the victim of an illegal arrest while at a local bus stop .

The events, according to the now arrested, occurred the day before the complaint, when she was waiting for the bus to Madrid, her place of residence during the state of alarm, and a person forced her to get into a vehicle to transfer her to a house of a farm, from where he escaped a day later.

The agents, puzzled by the inconsistencies that the woman narrated from the first moment, began an investigation that revealed the falsehoods of the detainee. They found out that he moved from Madrid to Colmenar Viejo with the excuse of going to Social Services , a place he never came to, and that he stayed at a birthday party.

After the celebration, he went to the Civil Guard Post to report a fictitious kidnapping, thus trying to find an alibi in case the security forces required a justification for his illegal displacement.
