Because of the Corona virus, many parishes around the country have changed their business. The religious services continue but with different adaptations. In Malå-Sorsele pastorate, people are now sending their services to avoid spreading infection.
- The faithful church people are of a mature age and stay at home, says Hans Marklund, temporary communist in Malå.
Is it something that is lost when you cannot have the services of the church?
- The little talk afterwards when we have church coffee disappears. We need social community.
In addition to the web-based services, the church also calls home to its members who are over 65, and also helps with grocery shopping.
