It is noted that Pompeo "confirmed that the US supports the efforts that he is making (Guaido. - RT ) and the democratically elected National Assembly to restore democracy in Venezuela."
The parties also "discussed the framework for a democratic transition proposed by the Secretary of State on March 31."
