Miguel Ángel Martín . Malaga, 1977. This actor, also known as 'the bald man in pajamas', triumphs on social networks with a journal of confinement in a humorous key. His videos are viral. They already interviewed him in the US, Venezuela ...

What would become of us without humor during confinement? We would be much worse than we already are. Humor is always a wonderful escape route. Your pajama videos have gone viral. Yes, but boy are they viral now, when a virus is our worst enemy. His journal of the confinement he publishes on the networks has already crossed the Yes, I was interviewed by the Univisión network in the United States and a few days ago I did a live for a journalist from Miami. They write to me from Argentina, Puerto Rico, Mexico ... A legion of followers has grown so affectionate that they have me in love. How have you connected with so many people? I get messages from people who, due to financial needs or health issues, need relieve yourself a little and awaken a smile; with my videos they get to smile. That is the most beautiful. The number of followers is secondary. You are an actor, but you did not dedicate yourself to humor, how did it all start? I am a theater actor; I work in a couple of companies in Malaga, but I never did humor monologues nor am I a humorist; I consider it very difficult. In confinement we are all reinventing ourselves. That man with the cup and pajamas in my videos is a character who lives in me, but I didn't know he existed. We went out to applaud the restrooms, but we also spied on our neighbors to see who skips the confinement. We have darker parts and now, with so much time at home, we are bothered by the neighbor who goes out four times to buy. We are a little gossip and we feel envy; nobody is completely black or white, in the middle there is a wonderful range of grays. There are people who are not for much laughter. And I understand it. They are having a hard time and others are on edge. Fortunately, I am not receiving many messages criticizing me for getting a laugh out of this confinement. I think about it, but it is not mandatory to watch the videos either. Are there limits to humor? I don't know where the limits are; It is a very complicated subject and I do not dedicate myself to it. But I do know where my limits are and where the other person's freedom begins. I want to make a white humor in which no one is offended. Many did not like that TVE does a humor program about quarantine with the more than 23,000 deaths from coronavirus in Spain. I understand that there are people who are not to laugh. When this debate comes out, I rethink what I'm doing. But I am not a public entity and I can allow myself the freedom to do some things that with public money may be more questionable. Humor is necessary and in that series, which seems good to me, there are a lot of comedians or puppeteers who have reinvented themselves. We know that alcohol is not healthy, but at the same time we are clear that bars must be saved. Making humor is lawful. The cultural sector is having a quarrel with the Minister of Culture. That he said that he had not thought anything for the cultural sector in this crisis ... It is as if a father distributes money among his four children and the fourth does not gives nothing. We feel completely abandoned. Fortunately, they rectified quickly. What was your life like before the coronavirus? I collaborate with various theater companies. In Aquarium Theater I have been 20 years: we do family theater. Now we had a couple of school campaigns and they all fell out. With the LaPili Company we had released a show on March 6, on the occasion of Fellini's centenary; we had a mini tour that has been left in the air. My life was in a van, theaters, towns, cities ... And, mind you, now I'm in my kitchen, with a cup and in my pajamas. I miss theater a lot, especially now that people are telling me they want to see me on stage. They say that crises are an opportunity. That's right. In the previous economic crisis, many sectors reinvented themselves. In my field, micro-theaters emerged. From this, we will get something good. I am living proof that this is so: I have reinvented myself by chance and have found a light in so much darkness; Let us trust our talent, mind and heart, which will lead us to good places.
