“As of 23:30 on April 28, 70 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the Murmansk region,” RIA Novosti quotes a message from the staff.

The total number of cases confirmed in the region amounted to 1126. Of these, 922 infected were recorded at a construction site in the village of Belokamenka.

For all the time 98 patients have recovered from coronavirus in the region. Four people with confirmed COVID-19 died.

A day earlier, 67 cases of coronavirus were detected in the Murmansk region.

The senior researcher at the Russian Scientific and Methodological Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, epidemiologist Oleg Yurin, in an interview with NSN, assessed the situation with the spread of coronavirus.
