April 28, 2020 Italy exceeds the threshold of 200 thousand infected, i.e. currently coronavirus positive, victims and healed. To date they are in fact 201,505, with an increase compared to yesterday of 2,091. The data was provided by the Civil Protection.

However, the decline in coronavirus patients is confirmed. There are a total of 105,205, 608 less than yesterday. The decrease yesterday was 290 while Sunday there was an increase of 256 patients. 382 people died in the last 24 hours and tested positive for coronavirus. The total since the beginning of the epidemic is 27,359.  

Fewer ICU admissions: 1,863 (93 fewer), inpatients with symptoms decreased 19,723 (630 less); in home isolation remain in 83,619 (+115), 79% of the currently positive.

To date, 1,846,934 swabs have been carried out, involving a total of 1,274,871 people. The increase in the number of swabs compared to yesterday is 57,272.
