The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a person for his alleged involvement in the death of three 'homeless' people since April 16 in Barcelona , all with an iron bar , and their possible relationship with a fourth case of the March 18, informed sources have informed Europa Press.

The latest death occurred on Monday night in Rosselló street in Barcelona, and the agents received the warning at 11 pm, the Catalan police have reported.

The Mossos investigators are now focused on determining whether the death of this homeless person could be related to three other crimes of homeless people that occurred in the Catalan capital in recent weeks.

This last victim has been attacked with an iron bar, and the hypothesis that there may be the same author acting with a similar modus operandi is being considered : two of the other victims were also beaten with an iron stick.

There are two cases close in time, on April 16 and 18, that occurred in the surroundings of the Auditori and on Calle Casp in Barcelona , in which the victims were beaten with an iron bar.

Earlier, on March 18, another crime occurred, on Sardenya street : they killed a 60-year-old homeless man with a Spanish nationality, stabbing him, and now an attempt is being made to link this murder with the same perpetrator.

The other two victims were a 27-year-old man of North African origin (on April 16) and a 60-year-old man, on April 18.
