This was reported on the page of the Russian embassy in the United States on Facebook.

Antonov noted that "the flight is not easy to shape."

“We emphasized the humanitarian nature of the list of passengers, which include elderly people who are in rehabilitation after the operation, and, of course, our students who were here as part of some training programs,” he said.

He said that the diplomatic mission is trying to gather Russian schoolchildren who "fell into a difficult situation in the US from 15 states."

According to him, most of them have to make several transfers.

The ambassador said that the diplomatic staff "are in constant contact with the parents of minors."

“We are doing everything in our power for the children to arrive on time for the flight on time,” Antonov said.

He said that this flight "will not completely solve the problem of the return of Russian children from the United States."

“We still have a lot of work to find out the exact number of students stuck here, their names and contacts,” the diplomat added.

Earlier, the Foreign Ministry reported that several dozen Russian schoolchildren were in a “difficult situation” in the United States, who left Russia last fall to study at American schools.
