Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued Resolution No. 168 of 2020 declaring a state of emergency throughout the country for a period of three months, starting at one o'clock, Cairo time, on Tuesday morning, corresponding to April 28.


And published the official newspaper in its issue issued today, President Sisi’s decision, and made it clear that the decision came after taking the opinion of the Council of Ministers, and in view of the dangerous security and health conditions that the country is going through.


And the second article of the decision stipulates that the armed forces and the police force take what is necessary to confront the dangers and financing of terrorism, maintain security in all parts of the country, protect public and private property, and save the lives of citizens.


Article 4 of the decision stipulates that anyone who violates orders issued by the President of the Republic to implement the provisions of Law No. 162 of 1985 referred to is sentenced to imprisonment.
