Two weeks before the deadline of May 11, Prime Minister Édouard Philippe will present this Tuesday April 28 to the National Assembly his deconfinement plan. A presentation followed by a vote. An acceleration of the tempo strongly denounced by the parliamentary opposition which wishes to participate more widely in the debate on the measures to be taken. Request supported by several members of the majority. The executive is truly expected at the turn.

The site is huge and there is still a lot to do,  " admits a close friend of Edouard Philippe. The Prime Minister has chained the meetings all weekend and will continue consultations all this day with the culmination
of a lunch with Emmanuel Macron .

The president should make his arbitrations at the latest this Tuesday during a council of ministers specially advanced to precede the presentation of the "strategy" of deconfinement by Édouard Philippe to the Assembly at 3 p.m. A speech followed in the wake of a vote, the government wants to move quickly. Too fast, in any case in the eyes of the opposition which, as of this Sunday, launched a real barrage fire.

"This is the Macronist Monarchy"

It is an "  imposture  ", denounced Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who castigates an advanced debate of a week, without consultation and which will be voted by "  LREM robots like automata  ". The leader of rebellious France condemns the government's "  unbearable method  " which leaves "  no time for critical examination  " of the deconfinement plan. This is the Macronist Monarchy  ," he says .

The communist leader Fabien Roussel regrets for his part the absence of "  real work of the Parliament on deconfinement, by taking the time to audition, to listen  ".

Anger shared by the socialist Olivier Faure who is also moved by a single vote on deconfinement and on tracking, the Stop Covid application. Voices are also raised in the majority En Marche to question the concomitance of these two debates.

The right requests a postponement of the vote

No way to vote on a speech!"  Echoed the right. The boss of the deputies The Republicans Damien Abad thus requests a postponement of the vote for a day or two so that the proposals of the parliamentary groups are examined.

Beyond the opposition, this request was also made by several members of the majority. These deputies En Marche did not hesitate to regret "  the lack of democracy in the method  " used by the government like the Alsatian MP Martine Wonner.
