The initiative of the new hand sanitizer, which was prepared with Emirati arms 100 per cent, came at the Central Examination Laboratory of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council in line with the directions of rational leadership and support the great efforts of the government of Abu Dhabi and the UAE in preserving the health and safety of society, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances the world is going through and limiting The spread of the emerging corona virus "Covid 19".
The Emirati hand sterilizer meets the international and local specifications, while the central examination laboratory has performed the necessary checks to verify the sterilizer effectiveness and test the contents of the packages after preparation, which has proven high efficiency that is able to compete globally.

For his part, Eng. Abdullah Al-Muaini, Executive Director of the Central Examination Laboratory said, that 15,000 hand sanitizer packages will be produced as a first stage, the capacity of the 60-ml container contains 80% alcohol, and then define the needs of the Abu Dhabi community and provide them in a way that guarantees the safety of everyone .. indicating that Continuously checking product efficiency and periodically checking its safety.
Al-Muaini added that the top management of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council directed the preparation and distribution of Emirati-made hand sanitizer packs free of charge to first-class soldiers, government agencies and workers in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with public benefit institutions in the emirate to contribute to preserving the health and safety of citizens and residents in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the country in general.

The laboratory provides inspection services in several areas, including food, beverages and water of all kinds, environmental tests, radiation tests, medications, medical devices and cosmetic tests. The laboratory also provides construction and building materials.
